Last week I spent a week in Taranaki, becoming trained in the sales and marketing techniques of The Marketing Company, New Zealand’s leading provider of sales and marketing training in New Zealand.
I’m delighted to announce that from today I’m going to be both a facilitator, and a client manager, delivering training that helps businesses make more money.
While I’ll be facilitating where ever I’m sent in NZ and Australia, I’m going to be focussing on Auckland and Nationwide businesses as part of my client manager role.
It’s felt like a very natural progression to work as part of this team – I love helping people build relationships with each other, and good sales and marketing is all about the relationship.
In the last two years I’ve poured all my focus and time into my own business running training and professional development for teachers, and also parents.
I’ve loved it, but as it is a niche area, I’ve needed to commit to traveling a great deal, and this has been a big ask of my three incredible daughters. While we all make the most of the time we have together, as a family we made the commitment to find a way to reduce my traveling down.
I’m looking forward to spending more time closer to home. (though I’ll still be training nationwide). I’ll still be working on my own business, but moving more into an auckland centric structure, and am planning to spend the bulk of my time and energy on building up the Auckland profile of The Marketing Company.
