PRIMARY AND EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

I have been running a range of Professional Development courses for ECE for nine years. In 2012 I will also be offering a small range of PD courses for Primary Teachers.

My first loves are working on managing challenging behaviours (and looking at why children act the way they do, and ow best to manage our own behaviours around that) and early literacy.

However I also run a range of courses from my popular Making Mat Times Magic, to Take it Outside, and working with Infants and Toddlers. You can find a full list here. (I can also run a course to your centre or schools needs- let me know what you need and we can create a tailor made course for you.)

I love helping teachers get children inspired about learning)

I am available for bookings during the day, some evenings, and a limited number of Saturday mornings. Out of auckland? Ask me about my new professional development webinar service, perfect for shorter sessions. I can be where you are, with an internet connection and a few clicks of a button!

You can read more about my courses for teachers on the relevant pages.

If you’d like to enquire about booking me you can contact me via my contact page.

PARENTING COURSES/ EVENINGS

Parenting is hard work. It’s an every day decision to commit to help raise your kids the best way you can. It involves learnign to deal with your own issues and stress before letting it wash over your children. It often means making tricky chices between what you want to do, and what is best for them. And then there is the issue of thier wills often fighting against yours… and you really really want to win!

Book me to come to your group or centre, and you’ll get a real, non PC, real session full of information and tips that actually work and are completely manageable.

This two hour presentation can allow time for questions, and is targetted mainly at parents of children aged 0-7 years.
